Workshops'25
Here are some photos from the Gelli Print workshop, tutored by Susan McCreevy on Saturday 1st March 2025.
Participants spent the morning learning how to make stunning collage papers using techniques like botanical prints, stencils and image transfers. The afternoon was spent using the collage papers made in the morning to upcycle a baby board book.
Susan will be tutoring another workshop on “Abstracting the Landscape and collage” for ASI members on Thursday 24.

Below we present some photos of results from the first workshop with the theme "What Artists See", tutored by Fiona Stewart on Tuesday 4th March 2025.
In the first of a series of 6 classes, Fiona introduced members to the contemporary still life works of Artist, Mary Feddon and looked at her influence on the art world and her her techniques. Participants enjoyed taking inspiration from her work to create their own contemporary drawings.
Fiona’s next class will look at the landscape drawings of Van Gogh.
